Australian retailer leaks standalone physical editions of “Resident Evil 5 & 6” for Nintendo Switch

Because 4 just isn’t itchy and tasty enough…. Australian online retailer Mighty Ape has listed standalone physical editions of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 for the Nintendo Switch. Capcom renews “Dino Crisis”, “Darkstalkers” & “Power Stone” trademarks

Capcom has been exploring the idea of resurrecting its classic properties for a while, but it looks as though the Japanese publisher is laying the groundwork to bring several franchises back into the limelight. Alterna Comics to release “The Swan King” as a one-dollar one-shot this spring

Earlier this week, Alterna Comics revealed that Tyler Wentland’s fantasy comic The Swan King would be coming to a comic shop near you for the affordable price of a single dollar. Crowdfunding campaign for “Chrono Mechanics” graphic novel ends successfully, still available in-demand

Overnight, the crowdfunding campaign for Art Thibert’s sci-fi/comedy graphic novel Chrono Mechanics ended successfully, raising more than $26 thousand and easily eclipsing its $8 thousand funding goal. With that total, several of the campaign’s stretch goals were met, including multiple trading cards, a button, a guitar pick, and 6 extra pages of story (for a current total of 54 pages).

Celebrated comic creator Barry Windsor-Smith comes out of semi-retirement to release “Monsters”

British comic book creator Barry Windsor-Smith (Weapon X, Archer and Armstrong) is coming out of semi-retirement in 2020 to release Monsters, a new 250+ page graphic novel. The idea for Monsters began in the 1980s, when Windsor-Smith pitched it to Marvel as a Hulk story. The celebrated writer/artist has since repurposed and expanded the idea into a fully creator-owned property.
